We’ve got to thank our pal Brady Basner at XS Power Batteries for tipping us off to this hilarious ad featuring a silver Honda Civic so non-desrcript it pretty much blends into any background it is near like a chameleon. Instead of going way over the top with the humor to get some attention for this boring ass car, the writer/seller went for the more subtle route and used the photos as the centerpiece of this comedic masterpiece. It is interesting how these ads pop up with some frequency now. People know that if they are able to do something outside the norm it will get around. Remember the awesome lawn mower ad from a few weeks back? This one isn’t on that level but it is a fun piece to read with lines like, “But like all dependable things and people you get tired of them like my ex wife did of me and its just time for something new. I really like jets pizza.” C’amon, that is a winner right there! The dude even posted a video of him beating up on a Ferrari which you can watch below. Oh, and if you can watch that clip and not laugh, you have no freaking soul whatsoever.
At the end of the day this is a crummy little Civic, but we love the fact that the guy selling it decided to set it apart from the sea of other boring ass Honda Civics by having some fun. We smiled and we bet you will too. Make sure you check out all of the photos in the CL ad. Fun stuff!
