We often find killer racing videos that are effectively ruined by sound. Seems weird, right? How can a racing video be ruined by sound? As you well know out there, it is pretty easy. Do anything to get in the way of the actual racing noises and you have effectively diminished the coolness of the video. This video is the stuff that you yell at us, beg us for, and then truly love when we give it to you. Purity, baby. There’s literally nothing between you and a full on killer stereo experience here. No backing track, no dub step, not so much as a freaking drum beat messes this one up.
You get five minutes of all different engine types running completely uncorked and full bore around Sebring during qualifying for the 2016 HSR vintage 12 hours. Vintage may seem weird when you look and see lots of newish looking race cars but even those modern looking pieces have been supplanted by the newest and best designs at the highest levels of the sport. We think you will love this video and frankly if you can listen to this and not think to yourself, “Ummm, I should probably hear that again,” we’re going to question your BangShiftyness!
Totally awesome!
I think whoever made this video is also a musician as the sound of the cars is almost a rhythm track. No commentary and no complicated cornering shots just pure raw sound.
But Brian – Eargasm -WHAT a name for a metal band!
