Most of us at one time or another have done some sort of automotive job in a place where we probably shouldn’t have. Maybe we washed parts in the dishwasher, rebuilt a Holley on the dining room table, baked header paint in the oven, or something along those lines. In our case, these activities were met with some angry response by our better half but frankly we have absolutely nothing on the dude in the video below.
This guy has a freaking engine dyno in the living room of his damned house. It is not just sitting there as a piece of modern art, he actually uses it. In this case he is pulling a little air cooled VW engine. He has a door open to allow the exhaust to escape and that’s about the extent of it. One of the funniest things to see is the drapes blowing around when the engine is running.
Hey, a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do and clearly this guy isn’t one to sit around and make excuses about why he is not getting his work done. If the living room is the only place to put the dyno, by God put it in the living room!
One word – BACHELOR! No doubt about that. Still, I’d love to have that dyno and I’ll make a spot for it in the shop.
Hope he shuts the engine off before he goes to bed ….ALONE!!!
