When you think of Pro Touring, chances are that you think of first-gen Camaros like Mike DuSold’s, second-gen Camaros like Brian Finch’s, a fleet of late-model Corvettes, and one-off purpose built vehicles like Suzy Bauter’s Rambler. Trucks might not register high on the list, but they are out there. We’ve seen a 1970s International Scout carve corners like you wouldn’t believe, so what’s stopping a GM, Ford, Dodge or whatever else can be modified from being modified? With the popularity of trucks and the ease of engine installs (can you say “huge engine bay”?) it’s just natural. Maybe not natural for what a truck was intended to be, but since when do gearheads care about correct? We care about fun, we care about purposeful, we care about fast.

This is a preview of what’s coming down the pike. I swung by NCM Motorsports Park a day early while everybody was getting registered and tech’d in and I’ll tell you now, this is only a preview of what will be present…well, as you read this, when I’m putting the camera to good use instead of my camera phone.
