French Sportbike Rider Jorian Ponomareff Makes Drifting And Stunting Look Telepathically Easy

There is the ability to properly operate a motor-driven cycle without killing yourself, and then there is the level that Jorian Ponomareff is on. That level is way, way above basic. Watching Ponomareff fling his bike around makes you wonder if some sort of telepathy is involved. This is beyond basic “stunting” by miles. He can drift the bike and maintain control while keeping his feet on the pegs. He can do a standstill burnout with feet up, and when the urge hits him, he can backflip off of the pegs, catch the seat and fling himself back on in a fluid motion. His skill turns his natural ability for stunting with a bike into an art form, and his videos (which he has a huge hand in creating) showcase his gifts beautifully. This guy is wild, and his motorcycle control is otherworldly.

That is pretty wicked. When I was a teenager racing motocross I found out by accident that after the 10 second board I was sitting on the gate wide open with both feet on the pegs. I never realized it until we had a gate malfunction. Got to love gyroscope effect!
