There’s a special kind of fear that comes along with being the passenger in an aggressively driven fast car, right? Even steely nerved hot rodders can get a little tight in the backside when they are the ones being forced to experience all of the fun with none of the control. Today being Halloween, we thought it only appropriate to feature a string of videos that show people getting scared to within an inch of their lives while in the passenger seat of cars being driven fast.

These passengers range from douchey west coast kids, to moms, to dads, to wives, and friends. All of them share some common themes and those would be funny faces, lots of yelling, and ultimately a laugh of too. We’ve all done it and most of us still do. When I get to test drive a new car that has some guts, I always pick up my mom for a ride and the first thing she says is, “You aren’t going to go fast, right?” Of course I assure here that I won’t and usually when the car is sideways in second gear she’ll yell loud enough for me to slow down. It’s who we are, its’s what we do.

We’re not going to preview you each of these videos, rather we’ll let them all stand on their own. If you were to take a count of how many of these “scare the passenger” films are on YouTube, we bet that the number would be into the 10s of thousands and they all have a bunch of views. Why? Because we love to watch people freaking out when all of their defense mechanisms have given way to blindly yelling and screaming. The cavemen probably enjoyed putting a guy on a mammoth and then whacking it on the ass with a stick to see what would happen, right? This stuff is 100% born into us.
