(Photos by Charles Wickam) – We’re back with more killer photos from the Houston Autorama taken by the guy who has been their anchor photographer for a few years now, our own Charles Wickam. The neat thing about Wickam’s gig with this event is the fact that he’s there from the moment they start letting stuff in to the moment they kick everyone out over the course of the weekend. While some people want to bust the chops of other who have “show cars” that built and created to do exactly what you see here, sit on display, we think that may be uncalled for.

Driving cars is always where the fun will be at for us, but everyone’s different. For some, the creation and treatment of the car as art are where the fun and challenge sit. Also, how many guys see something cool at at show like this and then attempt some variation of it on their own car or a project that they are building. Kind of like visiting an art museum. Show cars inspire people and we know that they inspire kids who are the future of this whole business.
