While we can all fantasize about racing around Le Mans and swapping positions with some of the greatest racing drivers in history, the fact is that we ain’t gonna be there and likely neither will you. That’s not a huge let down, right? The reality is that there’s great road racing to be done all over North America and the only thing you need is a tool to do it in. That’s where this 1969 Corvette comes into play. This vintage road racing car is just what the doctor ordered when it comes to living out your racing dreams and doing it in style.

Powered by a (claimed) 500hp 350ci Chevy small block and looking all the world like it belongs on a road course during the Summer of Love, this seems like the perfect car for someone who is interested in learning how to hurl a car around the corners at speed and then work their way into some vintage racing. The side pipes, the Torque Thrusts, and the interior that is about as spartan as spartan can be, all add up to a package that’s just about perfect in our book.

The best thing about this car for us is that it was an actual race car during the 1970s and 1980s. This was not just something that got built a month ago and was designed to look like an old car, this thing has banged fenders, drifted corners, and worn through lots of sets of racing tires in its life.

If we were the guys selling this thing, we’d get a video on that eBay ad post haste. As good as this car looks, listening to it start and make thunder through the side pipes would hook perspective buyers in a heartbeat!
