(By Tom Lohnes) – Do you ever yearn for a 2-door wagon but don’t want to be a peasant and buy a $280,000 Ferrari GTC4 Lusso? Well, Rolls Royce has the car for you, and there’s only 3 of em.
Introducing the Rolls Royce Silver Spectre, a $1,250,000 2-door wagon, or shooting brake. Packing four seats, suicide doors, and a 700-horsepower Twin-Turbocharged V12, this Rolls has everything you’ll ever need in a car. To make this, Rolls Royce teamed up with Carat coachbuilders in Surrey, England and got to work. Using a Wraith platform, the Silver Spectre just had its roof extended a little bit and a hatch added, justifying the small, $1,000,000 price bump. The Spirit of Ecstasy on the hood is made of diamonds, because why not, and flips down into the grille if someone tries to take your $100,000 hood ornament. The grille and all other exterior trim are real silver, and not peasntly aluminum like all the other Rolls-Royces. The grille is giant as always, providing cooling for the two 42mm turbochargers mounted in the V of the engine. Inside, 12 cows were skinned for this interior, so this is literally a vegan’s nightmare.
Honestly, if this were cheaper, It would be on my dream car list, but bumping the price by literally a million bucks is a no-go for me.
That looks a lot like my old Dodge Magnum.
Exactly what I was thinking. Magnum with a 300 front clip.
