(Photos by Saroja Raman) – Yesterday we brought you the first of three galleries from the recent USCA event at the Texas Motor Speedway and today we’e back up in your business with the second one. This collection of photos follows competitors from the road course to some of the other challenges that the event puts on over the course of the weekend. It isn’t all about the road course with USCA. There’s an evening cruise, an autocross, an engineering and design judged portion of the program, and a speed stop challenge which combines an autocross with a drag race and a braking competition for a very entertaining battle to watch and participate in.
As we told you before, the series heads to Daytona for the next event and racers will be able to leg their cars out on the famous high banks as well as compete in the other facets of the event. This is a potentially once in a lifetime racing opportunity for many people so visit the Ultimate Street Car Association website to find about how to enter and what you’ll need for gear and prep to be a part of the fun. Chad will be there doing his TV hosting deal and if you are lucky enough, maybe he’ll wax your car with his beard of something. We’ve seen him do it and it is shockingly effective.
