(Photos by Wes Allison) – Isn’t it kind of weird what survives? When we look at these cars and trucks from the October 2018 Pomona Swap Meet we are seeing a tiny, infinitesimal look at what types of things have defied the odds and not been crash, squashed, or otherwise killed. There are things that follow logically like muscle cars. They were desirable new and held some emotional and cool cache through history. But what about station wagons and stuff? No one was buying these things and thinking “future classic” but so many of them made it! The made it through new drivers, angry parents, donuts in the snow, drunken teenage antics, and hauling crap and family all over the place. We like that.

This is another great collection of snaps from the Pomona Swap Meet! See the cars that were for sale, were on display, and were filling up the expansive Pomona Fairplex in Southern California. Bam!
