Mountain Screamer: Watch Yves Faber Blast Up A Hillclimb In One Nasty Fox Mustang!

While I’m not in the same snow-induced landscape that Lohnes is currently stuck in (and I’m very, very grateful for that), the weather around BangShift Mid-West isn’t exactly conducive for high-performance racing…or, if I must be honest, any racing at all. While Brian digs himself out from the snow, I’m preparing to get hit with snow and ice. Springtime isn’t far, is it? Well, until the leaves appear on the trees and the temperature is twice my age in Fahrenheit, we will watch videos of guys making great use of a good, sunny day, like this example from 2011. The driver is Yves Faber, and he’s tearing the Eschdorf Hillclimb a brand new one with this late Fox Mustang. It’s everything you could want from a European Hillclimb video: loud noises, tire smoke and great car control. Screw the cold, get yourself something warm to drink and take a listen to this beauty!

Well, this car is actually a competitive drift car, not really built to hook. Probably was not running for time, more likely an exhibition pass, kind of like when Mad Mike Whidett drifted the Goodwood course with his 4-rotor FD3S-chassis RX-7
