It is always cool when the companies out there making the parts also find fun ways to give back to the people purchasing them and COMP will continue to do that in 2015 with the extension of the Thumpr Award which will be given out at each NSRA show in 2015 to one deserving car owner. The award will be given to a car owner who has a vehicle that stands apart from the crowd and has the attitude, feel, and ethos of American muscle dripping from is pores. There have been a wide range of winners in the past and this is an opportunity for you to throw your hat into the ring and have your ride celebrated and your hard work recognized.
The NSRA schedule is spread across the country over 10 events in 2015 and each of those shows is a place where the Thumpr award will be given out. The first shot will be the Southwest Street Rod Nationals in Oklahoma City April 10,11,12.

COMP Cams® Introduces 2015 NSRA Thumpr™ Award
Memphis, TN – This season COMP Cams® will be handing out a special Thumpr™ Award to one deserving car owner at every National Street Rod Association (NSRA) event. Each year, COMP Cams® strives to give something back to the passionate street rod enthusiasts who invest their time and energy participating in automotive events across America. As it has for the last several NSRA show seasons, COMP® will pitch in again in 2015 and present a well-deserved, specialty award to those show participants who demonstrate extreme dedication to the hobby and their rides.
At each of the ten 2015 national NSRA events, COMP Cams® and NSRA will present the Thumpr™ Award to one diehard enthusiast with a vehicle that stands out from the crowd and captures the true essence of American muscle. To reward engineering and ingenuity, NSRA will also look for unique and unusual engine combinations that deserve recognition. Thumpr™ award winners will receive a custom aluminum trophy featuring the Thumpr™ rabbit. Each trophy also includes a plaque emblazoned with the Thumpr™ and COMP Cams® logos.
