Must Watch Video: This Is A Compilation Of EVERY SINGLE General Lee Jump In The Show’s History

The General Lee is one of the coolest television cars of all time and ranks as one of the coolest cars of any kind in our book. This thing influenced millions of impressionable minds over the years it was on TV and it did so by sounding awesome, looking awesome, and most importantly, jumping everything in sight. Yes, the taping of the Dukes of Hazzard killed more Chargers than any other single force (outside of gnarly traffic accidents) but they mostly went out with their boots on, didn’t they? Ok, maybe that isn’t good enough to console the Mopar faithful out there but there’s still an element of “must watch” television when you stumble upon an episode of this show on the tube. Why? Something cool is happening or something cool is about to happen and it revolves around cars.

The video below is thirty minutes long and it is a compilation of EVERY SINGLE General Lee jump in the televised history of the Dukes of Hazzard. We cannot put into words how neat this is. Between judging them for height and length there’s also the keen eyed game of trying to figure out how horribly the car was mangled upon smashing face first into the ground. The General Lee is a car that will transcend the ages and for guys of our age group it’ll never be duplicated. This video is a distilled drink of pure awesome.

Awesome! Too bad they were just used cars back then. Studio paid what, 1K a peice for ’em? Anybody catch the Baja Bug by the curb in the town square (circle) two wheel stunt? Don’t think that Rebel flag goes over too well with the PC crowd nowadays! What were the cop cars, Newports, Satellites?
