If you live in the northern U.S. (or anywhere else that lives in snow during the winter months solidly) then at some point you have come to the conclusion in your life that staying indoors and waiting until warmer weather just isn’t a good idea. You need fresh air. You need exercise. You need to get away from everybody in the house before World War Three breaks out over something stupid like what show is being watched or who is hogging up all of the bandwidth. It is just snow, ice, and cold. Get your cold-weather clothing on and get out there into it!

Norway is one of those places on Earth that has a great relationship with the snow. You learn to live with it because it’s going to be there no matter what, and it’s going to be cold. That means that lakes freeze…and that means ice racing. We love us some ice racing! It’s how you can look like a hero without driving at mental speeds…control is the name of the game.
