Ride Shotgun In A Thundering Daytona Prototype At Sebring – Jim Pace In-Car Action Supreme

This killer in-car video with BangShift’s adopted road racing hero Jim Pace is great and you are going to love it. This footage is from the 2014 12-Hours of Sebring which is run as part of the new TUDOR road racing series. The car Jim is driving is a Riley Daytona Prototype powered by a BMW V8. The car sounds flipping awesome as he tries to work his way through the field.

The cockpit is certainly no place for a claustrophobic as the quarters are tight and there’s netting and all kinds of junk intruding on your personal space in there. Pace is a highly trained professional (literally) and to see him working the car over while trying to gain position is pretty awesome. We always revel at the precision top level road racers have entering and exiting the curves within mere inches of one another and for the most part they avoid contact. The same can’t be said for weekend warriors who normally brutalize each other in similar situations.

What more can we say other than rumbling V8, sweet prototype looks, and a talented driver. This is a great watch –
