PRI 2017: RideTech Is All About Freedom Of Movement With Their R-Joint and Adjustability With Their Modular Spindles

When it comes to things of importance, freedom of movement is at the top of our list. No, not just in the ability to hop in the car and drive anywhere we want but other types as well. RideTech is all about freedom of movement and their new R-joint is a full-on display of that.

The three plane articulation that the R-Joint provides is just the ticket for places where traditional heim joints, rubber or poly bushings, and other solutions have been used in the past. We can tell you that having used their demonstrator setup that you see below, these things are the real deal. We could not get them to hang up, bind, make weird noise, nothing. Available in different sizes, styles, and looks, we think that you should definitely consider using the neat R-joints the next time you are under your car replacing parts. Oh, and this absolutely does not just count for road racers or autocross’s. These joints are perfect for any situation where a free moving suspension is necessary to get your car to work…which is every freaking car, no matter the discipline. Check out the images of R-Joints and their specs below.

The other hardcore part that RideTech had on display was their modular spindles which are available for several classic muscle car applications. These are absolutely intended for cars that see the world of competition and need maximum adjustability in their suspension for full-kill performance. Because the bolt together, users can take advantage of that to tune Ackerman angle, KPI, ride height, and other suspension geometry. The spindles themselves weigh 7 lbs before the bearing hub is added and they are stronger than 4130 Chrome moly steel as the company is using a truly bad ass 7075-T6 aluminum to manufacture them.

RideTech is never sitting still and they are always looking out for your freedom of movement!
