SEMA 2017 Coverage: Fabulous Fords From The Blue Oval’s Major League Spread At The Show

SEMA 2017 Coverage: Fabulous Fords From The Blue Oval’s Major League Spread At The Show

It is the automotive version of Athens and Sparta. The Ford Performance display and the Chevrolet Performance display sit within a few hundred feet of each other at SEMA. The two biggest spreads in the show, the companies spend all year getting vehicles built, tested, and in some cases ready to debut at the show. Ford really did a nice job with their whole program in 2017 dropping news that they would be fielding a funny car with Bob Tasca III as the driver and then throwing out cool parts press releases all week. We took a stroll through their display and took photos of the stuff that really caught our eye.

The Roush Boss 729 Mustang struck a chord with us. While we could not bring ourselves to order one in the color shown, this car in black with 729hp would be a menace that any Hellcat would have trouble dealing with. The giant Orange truck build by BDS suspensions is fantastic because it is a thing that does not exist, a short bed F-250. Love the short box, the short wheelbase, and the orange paint. The whole thing is freaking great.

Ford, well done. You brought the high hard fastball to SEMA 2017!

If you are a fan of the blue oval you will love these photos for sure –
