The Garage 54 YouTube Channel is one of the more bizarre and awesome places to find interesting car stuff. These Russian guys perform all kinds of wacky experiments just because they can. Most of them cost virtually no money and have little purpose other than entertainment and perhaps that makes us like them even more.
In this case, the guys at the shop take four fairly random differentials from the wrecking yard, mount them all together and create a 150:1 gear reduction unit that they then fit to a Lada. They use the Lada to try and drag a big heavy SUV for the hell of it and laughs ensue. It is funny that even in a place like Russia there are cars which seem to be totally worthless for anything other than having fun with. These Ladas and their associated parts are everywhere and make the perfect test beds for weirdo stuff like this.
