(By Greg Rourke) –Over the years a few cars have been referred to as a “four door Corvette.” The mid 90’s Impala SS, the 9C1 Nova police car, and the CTS-V Cadillac to name a few. They had the power, handling and appearance where one could make that connection. Who knew actual four door Vettes were a thing?
It seems in 1980 a company called California Custom Coach decided the world needed a quadraport Vette. Apparently the world didn’t need them too bad as only six were built. The seller claims this is one of two left, the others possibly destroyed by torch and pitchfork wielding villagers. For the oddly specific sum of $183,866 this baby can have your neighbors scratching their heads.
If I were you, I’d stay away from Bloomington Gold. You’re welcome.

At least its fiberglass so it will melt and run down the gutter when its torched!
The same could be said about you.
Nothing says \”I wish I didn\’t have a wife and kids\” like a four door Corvette.
Thanks for sharing this information. It was quite interesting to read this article. It was really useful and knowledgable. Great work keep going. Thank you.
Driving this around might get you beat up.
Good news, Dr. Casanova Frankenstein. The Disco Boys were able to find you a new car after that random fork attack.
You beat be to it….
There was probably a six-week period in 1980 where this could have gotten you laid out in the disco parking lot. To buy it now, show your AARP card and claim the dementia discount.
That is one of the funniest thing I have read all week!
i have disco vettes. i love disco vettes. but this…
oh please g@d, please make it stop.
I think the decimal is in the wrong place.
Price reduced to $181,594.00. Now THAT seems more like it. Bet $181,550.00 might do the trick.
It\’s NOT a minivan!
I\’m holding out for the Lincoln stretch limo that has been repurposed into a two-seater sports car.
The VINs were sequential but were the last of 1979 and the FIRST of 1980.
I\’m holding out for a Lamborghini with Chevy Cavalier doors.
Y in the hell would u be waiting on a Lamborghini wit chevy cavalier doors? No offense but that would look retarded.
A Corvette station wagon would look better.
You’re in luck, Stephen!!! The self-same dealer trying to sell this four-door Corvette is also trying to sell a two-door wagon version. It’s a 1969 with a 327V8 and 4-Speed for only $42,980, too! https://www.nbsautoshowroom.com/details/used-1969-chevrolet-corvette/51372286
To be fair, this is how I felt when I saw the Cayenne come out. Even moreso when I first saw the Panamera
