Got the guts to buy this car? That is what the current owner, who is 60-years old wants to know as well. The car we’re talking about is a rough and ready 1925 Ford Model T. The rough and ready part does not denote this as a bad car, in fact it is something that the current seller would high five us on saying. Why? The thing has a 460 Ford big block and a four speed transmission. The car lacks things like heat, a radio, and all the other modern stuff that traditional hot rodders scoff at. Here’s the thing. This is about as legit an old school hot rod you are ever going to see for sale that you can get in and drive the wheels off of and the owner has.
This car has made trips all of the place including Bonneville and Viva Las Vegas among others.The reality is that if you really want a hot rod that drives, feels, and hauls ass like a hot rod, this is the car for you. It sits right and it does so because of old school technology. It has friction shocks up front, it has a four-link out back, and it sits 44″ tall. You can sleep on the roof and we only say that because the current owner has done that.
