This 1964 Chevy Stageway Suburban Has Seven Doors, Yellowstone History, And Less Than 10,000 Miles On It

We have showed you many Stageway creations over the years here at BangShift. Heck, there was one on display at the Grand National Roadster Show in the form of a Nova wagon that had like 100 doors and was 451 feet long. Those numbers may be slightly exaggerated but not be much. Anyway, I was recently trolling the internet for a cool Stageway airport limo to show you all and I managed to find this 1964 Stageway modified Chevy Suburban that was once a tour vehicle at Yellowstone Park! The open roof allowed guests to take great photos of the natural wonders that towered above them on the tour. This Chevy has seven doors (four one one side and three on the other) although two of the doors on the “short” side have apparently been welded shut according to the seller.

The engine is one of the venerable V6s that will run until the heavens come crashing down upon us but make like 16 horsepower. Not that you need or expect for something like this to be fast but we wouldn’t plan on merging onto the highway during any sort of heavy traffic situation especially with a big rig bearing down on you. At least the crumple zone is about 15 feet long. The seller seems like a collector of this era of GM truck because as you will see in the photos below he has more than a few. Note that in the fourth photo you can see what looks to be a C50 or C60 truck done into a crew cab hiding in the corner. We want to know more about that one! The guy has all the details and information you could want on this baby and amazingly it only has 9,400 original miles on it. That’s pretty wild all on its own.

Because the ad has been up for a while, here’s the text in case it sells tomorrow!

I love ads with ‘Only serious need apply, reply – whatever ‘ or somethiing like that.

    O.K. Here’s my serious reply:

Take that useless GMC not Chevy $ 9500 wishful thinking in-a-psychotic haze rusty piece-of-shit to the crusher where it belongs.

Maybe it’s my attitude that is stopping me ?

This thing has been for sale on and off for several years, FWIW. I think I first stumbled on it in 2010-2011 on Yuba Sutter CL (I lived sorta near where this thing is for a while).
