This 1972 International Harvester Travelall Limo By Stageway Is Ridiculously Huge And For Sale!

We’ve gotta thank Charles Wickam for pointing this gem out to us indirectly on social media. What you are looking at is a 1972 International Travelall which was converted into a 15-passenger limousine by the Stageway company which made its bones doing this to all different types of stuff over the years. We can’t say that we have actually see one of these things in the wild, especially one that is as complete as this one. Yes, it needs to be restored but all the parts and pieces are here. From the door handles to the windows, wheels, seats, etc. It all needs help but it doesn’t need to be sourced, which makes restoration jobs easier.

Armbruster Stageway is still a thriving business today, mostly servicing the funeral industry with hearses and funeral limos. Over the years their touch was used on everything from Pontiacs to Chevrolets to Cadillacs, and the list goes on and on. What we’re trying to say is that while these vehicles were not rare for their time, they sure as heck are now. Why? Once they made it to the end of their working life, there was not much use left for them and they were junked.

The ones that escape that ignominious fate like this International need to be saved!

  1. Chevy Hatin' Mad Geordie

You could go one of two ways with this. Either turn it into the ultimate lifted 4×4 off road monster which could carry all your friends and their camping gear. The other choice would be put it on air bags and turn it into a limo with attitude complete with a late model Hemi, 20″ alloys and an overdrive/automatic trans.

But for me I’d take the third option – walk on by…..

Does anybody really care that it ran when it was parked, when it was parked 20 years ago?

You better have that AmEx Onyx card to keep that land yacht filled with fuel.

Mime gets out in the wild more weekends than not, check it out on Facebook \”redneck limo\”. Mine is the 18 passenger version with 10 doors rather than the 8 picture.
