As we have often told you, SEMA vehicles lead weird lives. They are often built in an insane thrash, then they are lionized at the show in Las Vegas and often, like this one, they are sold to the highest bidder. What is this? We’re calling it a 2017 6×6 SEMA Jeep truck thing. That name does not exactly roll off the tongue but we think it accurately describes what you are looking at. You are also looking at what the seller hopes is $284,000 (and some change but what’s a few hundy between friends?)

There’s a LOAD of awesome parts not this ting and while there are scant few details given on the builder it sure looks the part, then again SEMA vehicles are designed to do that. Their purpose in life, much like a runway model, is to showcase the fashions of the day. This rig was created by Rubicon Express and at SEMA it had a wild snowmobile/dirt bike hybrid deal in the bed. If you were just shopping off of a parts list, there is a bonanza of bad ass stuff underpinning this truck. When you add in the chassis modifications and the 6×6 stuff, the pricing curve likely goes vertical. That’s how the seller has gotten to $284,000.

Rubicon Express is a company that builds heavy duty, bad ass suspension systems for Jeeps and while the turning radius of this one will be like a cruise ship when compared to a stock Wrangler, the capability of the Jeep on the trail should still be stout with the suspension, axles, clearance, and tires the thing has on it. Oh, there’s also a 6.4L hemi under the hood. No, the stock 3.6 is not trying to lug all of this around.

There are not too many SEMA cars on trucks for sale at the moment that we can find and this is certainly the only 6×6 we could locate!
