(Photos by Wes Allison) – While it is not like the idea of hot rodding trucks is new, we think it is has been taken to a new level over the last 15-20 years. Even back in the day 50 years ago guys would put hot rodded engines in a shop truck, Barris built stuff like the Kopper Kart, and even the manufacturers got into the act with trucks like the Cameo and others. This being said, trucks have never been a bigger part of the hot rodding world than they are today and the quality of the builds stands up to anything without a bed as well.

In this collection of photos we’re enjoying the trucks of the Goodguys Del Mar show, an event that has a long history because of its killer beachside location and of course because of all the neat iron that shows up and shows out. Enjoy these truck photos, we know we enjoyed taking them!
