Amazing Video: Watch A Tiny V6 Engine Made Of Paper Run With Compressed Air

We have showed you lots of videos featuring miniature engines over the years here at BangShift but this one may take the cake. Why? Mainly because it is made of paper. I guess paper AND a small cardboard box that acts as the block in this case. The video below takes you all over the engine and what is neat about it is that the whole engine is shown and we see the little V6 spun over by hand. Things get really fun when and air line with an elbow on the end is connected to the engine and compressed air is fed through it. That compressed air has this thing turning some serious RPMs and making real engine noise, albeit on a small scale.

We do not know what the connecting rods are made of and the crank looks to be made of some sort of cardboard/paper stick like you would find in a lollipop with throws made of cardboard as well. The cylinders themselves are clearly made of paper and while there is no valvetrain that we can see, it matters not. This seems like one of those projects that either took no time at all or the guy who built it invested the majority of his life for months at a time to end up with a paper engine about as big as your thumb.

Make sure you stick with this video to the point where the compressed at becomes part of the show. That is really where things go from the interesting to the completely unbelievable. Who knew you could actually make something like this out of paper. Nuts, right?
