Anyone Want A 1992 F-350 With The Turning Radius Of The USS Nimitz? Here’s Your Truck!

Anyone Want A 1992 F-350 With The Turning Radius Of The USS Nimitz? Here’s Your Truck!

There are big trucks and then there are BIG TRUCKS and this one qualifies in the second category. Starting life as a 1992 Ford F-350 someone added about three and a half miles to the chassis and another set of doors making this a six door cab and an eleventh-foot long bed model. Not content to have it hugging the ground it was also lifted significantly and put on big tires. We’re thinking that the axles may have been swapped as well because of the custom wheels and how wide the package is. We wish that there were photos of the rear driveshaft or at least a couple sections of it to show off but there are none in the ad.

The seller says in the ads that the truck was built about 10 years ago and while it runs and drives the thing needs work to be really nice. We’d honestly love to see what the turning circle on this thing is. We’d also love to see what type of reinforcement the chassis has had because it certainly does not appear to be sagging at all from these photos. Being that most limos are about 70% the length and height of this thing you’d think that if it were build on the cheap that it would look like a rope bridge in the middle. Such does not appear to be the case.

The truck is located on the western end of the Florida pan handle (who saw THAT coming?!) so rust and salt and all that junk isn’t a factor in its life. We’re not sure if the truck is a gasser or a diesel but outwardly it looks like a gas truck and if it is, we sure hope that someone has beefed that 351 or 460 up because it has a LOT of weight to drag around.

Want it? The asking price is $7,000.

Having been stationed on the USS Nimitz from 2006 – 2011, I believe the USS Nimitz has a better turning radius.
