(By Greg Rourke) – C. W. McCall was the alter ego of ad man Bill Fries. He wrote more than just Convoy, he has several albums full of some killer tunes. Case in point: Classified.
This catchy little ditty speaks to most, if not all of us. It tells the story of C.W. aquiring a barn find 57 Chevy pickup. To be more accurate, a behind the barn find. In a field of cow excrement. We’ll hear of his adventure dealing with the seller, and the crap he receives from his friends when he gets his new treasure back home. Reminds me of a certain 74 Chevy pickup I once scored.
