Divco milk trucks are bad ass little haulers, and we’ve always wanted one. They are getting harder and harder to find, although you do run across them on occasion for sale. But we’ve never seen one with this much stuff done to it, that was for sale for this kind of deal. At $4000, a Divco with a clean title, Mustang II front end, Disc Brakes, 9″ Ford Rear, Fuel Injected 302 and T-5 from a 1994 Mustang, etc, etc is a screaming deal in our book. The man who is selling it was planning to have it shipped to California but illness forces sale and it is available in Illinois. There are plenty of extra parts as well, and the title shows that it was owned by a liquor store previously which makes it even cooler in our book. Milk is cool, but hooch is better.

My son, who is a chef and dreams of operating a mobile fine dining service would love this beauty. It has the room to accommodate all the culinary gear and is a lot cooler than the old Citroen H vans that are commonly used, I was fully expecting the V8 to be the usual SBC, but was delighted to find that all the good bits are sourced from Ford. Unfortunately I just don’t have the funds to buy this and hope it doesn’t end up looking like a rat rod. All that needs changing are those slot mags – wide steels with dog dish hubcaps would be more appropriate.
So its just as well my Jamie doesn’t read these pages as this would haunt his dreams for years as “The One That Got Away”!
That divco sat at my shop in central il for 3 years. nice old piece.
