We’re not 100% sure this sucker is actually a 1967 as the ad states, but no matter it is super duper cool. We think it is a late 50’s model actually, but that’s neither here nor there. Step Vans, Bread Vans, Milk Trucks, whatever you call them these utilitarian rigs are super cool and really handy. If you are a hot rodder looking to haul people and stuff around these can be really cool. Have a brand you are promoting? This could be your jam. No matter what you want to do with it, a truck like this can be a riot if done right. Whether you restore it, hot rod it, or restomod it, there are a lot of choices. Take the stock chassis and install typical hot rod parts to make it low, make it quicker, and make it better. Or go the “easy” route and do a late model chassis swap so you have all the latest and greatest goodies. If we found the right deal, this is probably the way we would go if we were building this.
Either way, it can be a cool tow rig and shop truck and we really want one.
The seller doesn’t offer up much info except to say that this one has a 6 cylinder in it still, and it’s $1,500. Good enough for us!
Here is the info from the seller:
I have a 1967 Chevy step van that is a great project. Has the motor and transmission. Give me a call.
Thank you
