This 1980 K15 GMC Has 12 Inches Of Lift, Super Swampers, And All The Right Attitude

In the 1980s and 1990s, owning a lifted truck like this 1980 model GMC would have had you looking liking a complete stud. 12 inches of lift, and a great set of Super Swampers made everything else little and also made a statement that you weren’t messing around. Sure this thing won’t do a quarter of the off-road activities that a bad ass purpose built rig can do, but the attitude is perfect. Sure it won’t ride great with that giant lift, and the brakes are probably not quite up to the task, but if this sucker was Dana 60 and 14 bolt equipped it could do awesome things in the mud.

With stock drivetrain it won’t win any drag races, but at least it has been geared correctly with a set of 4.88 gears front and rear. Oh and if it were ours I’d step that 39.5 inch Swamper up to a 42 or 44, but that’s just to be even more obnoxious. Oh the things we would do to this one.

1980 GMC Sierra Grande 4×4 $10,500 firm, cash only, no trades, has stock 350 engine and automatic transmission with 305 transfer case, doesn’t smoke, has a/c and heat, with 12 inch suspension lift on 39.5 super swampers, and 488 gears, has some rust on front of hood and needs new paint job, also has a great stereo system with amps. This truck is very solid and drives good and is tagged and inspected. These trucks are getting harder to find and they will only go up in value.
