Check Out This Awesome Bed That Any Car Guy, Or Car Kid, Would Die To Sleep In

The guys at Bedwood and Parts put this up on their Facebook page yesterday and it rules. It’s a bed, for sleeping, made from the bed and back of the cab of a 1953-1956 Ford F100 and we dig it. Years ago I wanted to build a bed from a Chevrolet Dually pickup bed and never did it. These guys have beat me to it! I know that convincing your wife to slide over a bedside to get into bed each night might not be her favorite idea, but man this would rule. And damn that entire bedroom is cool as hell. We want it.

The funny thing about it is that the Bedwood and Parts guys love this thing and you can’t even see the bed floor!

We dig their stuff and can’t wait to have a project that needs an awesome bed floor. They know how to do it right. For more information on the nicest, and most complete, bedwood kits for your early or late model project, visit BedwoodandParts.com

    I’m not feelin’ the love.

The bed is only 4 feet wide, right? Kinda tight for 2 adults, but maybe okay for a kid.

Envision this: after a night of heavy imbibing, then comes the need to get up for that 3 A.M. whiz, ‘room’s darker than the hubs of Hell…you’ll likely not make it to the potty 100% successfully after orienting yourself and climbing over a side rail…

If you have a little one and it is bed time !

Think of it this way, If your a gearhead kid then the short box would be awesome. Then you become a gearhead young adult so trade up to a long box. When you get married start out with the long box but put helper springs in. As one of you gets used to the home cooking or more comfortable in the relationship then move up to the heavy half model. When middle age hits go for the dually! Just thoughts.
