Daily Dually Fix: Because This Slammed 1997 Crew Cab Dually Just Speaks To Me

Daily Dually Fix: Because This Slammed 1997 Crew Cab Dually Just Speaks To Me

The perfect crew cab dually belongs to my friend Steve Brule who runs the show over at Westech Performance Group. It’s a red mid to late 1990’s model, like this one, is in near perfect condition, and has like 25,000 miles on it. Seriously. It’s slammed too, has a smooth side painted to match shell, polished wheels, and looks bitchin hauling a bad ass boat just like this one. I dream of owning it one day, even though I know I’ll never have enough to afford it even if he did decide to sell it. With that said, this bitchin red example is also speaking to me since it makes me think of Brulio’s.

This one here is for sale for only $10,000 which seems like a great deal considering how nice it is. I love the stance, the modifications that have been done to it, and the fact that someone cared this much about it so as to keep this 20 year old truck in this kind of condition. Someone loan me some money! Just kidding.

Since I drool over and dream about dually trucks every single day, and there are jillions of them available for sale online, I’m going to be throwing one up for you to check out as often as I can. After all, who doesn’t love checking out a cool truck. Right? Oh, and it doesn’t have to be a slammed dually. Or even a crew cab dually. What about lifted dually’s? Weird project duallys? Hmmmm. Send me your ideas for cool dually’s that we should highlight by EMAILING ME HERE.

Sometimes the dually is a CHEAPER option than even a half ton. I bought a 90 F350 dually (460 E4OD 4.10’s Alcoa wheels, running boards , bed rails , tool box , crappy stereo, iffy front window motors, full boat aftermarket cowboy Cadillac aftermarket seats etc) for $2500 after looking for a 90-97 F250 or 5.8 F150 for a good price for over a year. Fuel mileage ? 8.5 Oil consumption ? Yes . But it starts runs hauls motors gravel and patio cover building supplies etc. even with the patina on the hood and fenders I still get “Nice Truck” comments. Gotta love a crew cab dually…..

We still have and use our red ’94 Chevy crew cab dually and love it. Ours is lowered, but not slammed. mostly designated to towing the ’28 ft. race car trailer to and from the track.

Only regret is that it doesn’t fit in the garage.
