This Dodge Adventurer D200 Is Old Truck Perfection

There is something about a truck. There have been songs written about them, a million analogies about them, and at least a million uses for one. But more importantly, there is something special about driving an old truck. They suck compared to new ones as far as power, comfort, features, etc. But as a guy that owns an old truck, I can tell you that the beater old truck is so special it defies description. Driving it around town for errands makes you feel good. Being able to load it full of crap to take to the dump is great. There are a ton of ways to enjoy one and this particular Dodge D200 is the perfect one for someone. Sure it has a couple rust spots, but who cares. I would change the wheels and tires and put some correct dog dish hubcaps on it and that would be it.

What do you think?

Here is the info from the seller with tons of photos below.

Great and untouched pick up. Body is in great condition as well as the interior. Strong engine start right up and runs fine with no issue. small rust spots but nothing major as you can see in the pictures provided. Well lets see. The hood ,side chrome and dash are mid 65 to 67. grill is a 68 .The very cool auto trans on the dash, not colum. That also says 67 or older. Nothing about the engine ,Could be a slant 6 ,That hurts price a little .Being its older than 68 it could have a Poly .That hurts more than the slant 6 . Only because its Mopars un known power pant. They make much more torque than the LA 318 .And are really a very good engine. However being its a 200 and has a “fancy” package plus auto trans it could be packing a 383 “B’ big block. That’s the mother load engine in these years Sweptlines. This with any engine of the group would be an assume weekend truck. Its a large working tool . Cant hurt the drive line 727 trans are great. It will have a Dana 60 rear. And a hard as hell to steer straight axle front end . These trucks in this shape only lived west or south west .It would be a real head turner were ever you go. Fords and Chevys are much much more common .There was nothing said about price or miles. If it has under 100K miles I would think. Poly $4k ,Slat 6 $4.5K and if it has a 383 $5.5K .Plus shipping to some were in the US that these no longer live.Great truck ,and still all one color . That dang tail gate is worth $500.00 alone . I like it .Mopars rule ,and old Mopar trucks rule the most

You have no clue what you are talking about. That is not a 1968 Grill, and shifters on the dash were available after 1967.

Looking now at the doors .The handles are both inside and out 68.Dodge did some funny stuff with these trucks .May be an early 68 . Later 68’s had a different dash .In 65 they changed the grill and dash mid year. Sorry ,still a kick ass old girl .

All I’d do is boot the rear bumper ( never liked the implement style) and tune up the tire and wheel combo. Here in Wis. this kind of stuff was gone decades ago. I dig it Chad.. Thanks.
