Man this makes me want to fire up the truck and haul ass across everyone’s yard in my neighborhood! Okay maybe that’s not the same, but there is no desert action to be found around the DFW area so I’ve got to make due! Someone please explain how crazy I am at my trial so I can get off with an insanity plea. But delete this first.

The 2020 BAJA 1000 was a bit different than normal with all the restrictions in place all over the United States, but that just mean another level of planning and preparation was required by the teams and they all knew it. So off to Mexico they went to put the hammer down and haul some ass across Mexico. Silt beds, winding rock strewn desert mountain roads, flat washes, vistas, and more are just some of the landscapes that the drivers had to navigate this year. With some teams spending less time pre-running it meant that the uncertainty in the desert could play a factor in how drivers performed when close to each other, and just how hard they would push it in unfamiliar areas. Of course Bryce Menzies doesn’t know about anything but being at max effort, so the team gave him a bad hot rod and told him to get after it.
