There is something super satisfying about polishing something dull into something shiny. Whether it is wheels, paint, chrome, or aluminum, if you take product and a rag or buffer and make something shiny again it’s something to be proud of. And unlike a lot of things we do to our hot rods and projects, you can see results happening right before your eyes, so that makes it even better. This old LUV truck is a perfect example.
It’s been sitting at Emily and Aaron’s for too long and was covered in stuff from trees, birds, and who knows what else and the oxidation from the Texas sun had compounded all of it. Thankfully a few tools, some product, and some patience were all that was needed to really make a difference in the look of this truck. If it were mine, I’d make it lower and then drive the hell out of it! This kind of video makes me want to go get some old body parts that look horrible and see how far we could bring them back.
