How To: Vent Window Delete – 1973-87 Chevy & GMC Squarebody One Piece Side Glass Conversion

I’ve recently acquired another squarebody Chevrolet project, and while it will be a fairly straight forward project that is just getting a lowering job and an LS swap, I know there will be some restoration products needed to make it a nice driver too. So I’ve had squarebody brain going the past couple of weeks, looking at what I want to do and what I might need. Of course that means I’ve checked out parts at Brothers Trucks and then saw this vent window delete video from their YouTube channel. I am actually a fan of vent windows normally, but when they leak and whistle and make noise because they are old and worn out, they kind of suck. I have no clue as to whether the ones on this new project of mine are good or not, so we’ll just have to see. But I do know that if I decided to do a delete kit, this is the one I’d get.

It takes some time, but on a Saturday you could do the complete system and have a one piece glass setup in your squarebody. If this is something you are interested in, check out the video because it is pretty slick.
