Truck and tractor pulling are sports that we take seriously here at BangShift but even stuff we take seriously can have a fun side. This video is proof of that. Sometimes it is not about making the most efficient attack on a motorsport but rather it is about having a load of fun. Drag racing has wheel standers and jet cars, pulling has rigs like these with their high riding stance and high hitch height. With the ride height and the hitch height, one thing is a guarantee. hat’s the fact that the wheels will be four feet in the air by the time these things grind to a halt.
You are going to watch a super clean Chevrolet and a slightly more rough and tumble Ford hook to the sled and make beautiful noise. One of the things we love, and the Ford does it best, is the static style wheelie that happens when the truck gets pulled to a stop, cannot move the sled anymore but is like a dog on the end of a chain, just standing there on its hind legs, or in this case wheels.
The Chevy is a beautiful truck. Yellow is not the most forgiving color but we think that this truck really does it right. The coated headers look magnificent when fully exposed under the truck and the Rockwell top ladder axles under these trucks are more than up to the task of handling the horsepower involved.
No, these are not ideal pullers but they sure are fun to watch and after all…isn’t that the point!?
