It has been a while since we showed you some of the fun the people on the Hydraulic Press Channel of YouTube have been having. We found this gem of a video that was recently posted featuring their indomitable press taking on a variety of materials that have been frozen in liquid nitrogen. Everything from chocolate and eggs to duct tape, and playing cards, toilet paper, you name it! Not to give you the total spoiler here but DO NOT miss the playing cards and the duct tape portion of this program. You just never know how stuff will react when put under hundreds of tons of pressure and that’s the lesson here.
Not all the stuff on the video is impressive to watch get squashed. In fact, when you see a couple of the items getting ready to be given the business, you’ll be excited like we were and then maybe let down a little. It’s all good and the reactions of the people involved are part of the fun.
