There are few more satisfying acts to perform in a truck or on a tractor than pulling stuff out of the ground. Trust me here, if you have never actually pulled out bushes, shrubs, small trees, or anything of this nature you are missing out. Hooking a chain on something and letting physics take over is just so cool. As you will see, there are loads of different potential methods of completing the job and many of them are explored in this compilation video of people getting the work done in their rigs and tractors.
This compilation is international. There are a bunch of clips featuring Ursus tractors which are from Poland. There’s also a clip of a dude in a Silverado pulling a massive tree over, which is clearly from California or somewhere on the west coast.
One of the things that shines here is the overt toughness of farm tractors. The amount of abuse that people lay on them in the quest to “win” the fight against a stump is wild. The “wind it up and dump the clutch repeatedly 50x” strategy is pretty amazing. The fact that the thing doesn’t seem to care about it is even better.
