Suspension travel is the key to hauling ass across the desert at big speed. So when you have more than two feet of suspension travel, you can find yourself feeling pretty invincible out on the desert at full throttle. Once you watch this video with Bryce Menzies you’ll understand why since this sucker seems to absolutely haul the mail. I think making it look this easy probably lulls you into a bit of comfort that is not always warranted given just how fast you are going, but if I’m going to do it this is the kind of truck to be in. Nothing about this truck moving at these speeds across the desert seems to bother it at all. I mean if there wasn’t a giant cloud of dust forming behind it you might think this truck isn’t really going very fast! How is that even possible?
Technology is how. Suspension design and engineering that has culminated in shocks, springs, and overall suspension systems that work together at the most extreme levels have allowed trucks like this to do everything they do at speeds well above 100 miles per hour. This is impressive stuff and I want one bad. Real bad.
