Old Dodge big rigs? Check. Screamin’ Detroit Diesels having the wee revved out of them? Present. The most narrow drag strip on the North American continent? Oh yeah. Announcer screaming in French? Oui. Is there any more I can say about this video? Uh, no. If you don’t already have a decent sound system on your ‘puter then get on Amazon and order one. Then come back to this and hit Play.
(Editor’s note: I can say that this is some of the best Detroit Diesel sound I’ve ever heard! Old Dodge big rigs are super rare in and unto themselves so to have a pair of them hammering down this little drag strip is great. The capper in this video are the three loaded logging trailers that the trucks are dragging uphill to the finish line. The Detroit Diesels may get the screaming glory but the transmissions, axles, and other driveline parts really did the work here. These two straight pipe monsters were really working!)
