So each and every year in a corner nook of the upper south hall at SEMA a company called OMIX-ADA has a display of killer Jeeps. Not Jeeps parked on each other or Jeeps that are on 26″ wheels but old school Jeeps. See, OMIX-ADA is in the business of keeping Jeeps alive as a manufacturer of replacement parts for all generations of Jeeps all the way back to the Willys stuff. This year their display is beyond awesome.
What they have done here is to gather all of the versions of the Jeep that were used during WWII and a couple of post war models as well. Willys, Ford, and Bantam are all represented. Not just the Jeeps but some really bad ass information on each of them as well. Years of manufacture, how many were built, engines, weights, all the tech specs, etc.
Guys like Freiburger can look at these rigs and tell you this stuff like it just hit them light a lightning bolt. Guys like us who love old Jeeps see “flat fender” and well…”flat fender”. This in explanation of these awesome machines in only the was a company that dedicates its existence to their preservation could know. Neat, right?
