SEMA 2014: One More Load Of Trucks To Check Out – Virtually Bro-Rig Free!

SEMA 2014: One More Load Of Trucks To Check Out – Virtually Bro-Rig Free!

Yesterday we took you for the first of two trips into the truck hall at SEMA 2014. One of the things that was mentioned in the comments both on BangShift and on the Facebook post about the photos was the presence of “bro-rigs” or “west coast” looking trucks. I certainly cannot argue that there is a style of trucks that pervades most of the show which consists of huge lifts coupled with tires that have a short sidewall on a large diameter wheel. I always consider trucks with that look to be “west coast” style and I think the root of it comes from the prevalence of sand out there. Guys hit the dunes and stuff with more frequency than the mud because they have no mud. I can’t say that it is my favorite look but I can say that this group of photos is virtually bro-rig free. There are some unique lowered trucks in here, some really awesome and totally hardcore off road trucks in here, and at least one flatfender Jeep that has a supercharged V6 in it that we ant and we want bad! The finish work on that truck is spectacular.

I really like the truck in the lead photo about as well. Slammed on the ground and looking unique with the dually bed that has been bobbed on both ends so all that is left is the flared out section it has a cool look and a funny license plate. Some of the photos were shot outside the convention hall in the “front yard” of the show which was also wall to wall cars and trucks so hit the link and take a look. If you hated the stuff from yesterday you may be more into the stuff populating this group of photos!

That black Willys with the blown V-6…..is that a 4.3 Chevy….? I like that whole rig. Its not too crazy, but terribly-well detailed and everything fits together. Want.
