Shut Up And Take Our Money: This 1976 Dodge Has A 440, Four Wheel Drive, And Perfect Paint

Shut Up And Take Our Money: This 1976 Dodge Has A 440, Four Wheel Drive, And Perfect Paint

Sometimes simple is good and in the case of this 1976 Dodge truck, simple is GREAT. The jet black truck has seemingly perfect paint, a mild 440ci big block under the hood, and a 2″ lift along with some good looking Wild Country tires. There is nothing over the top about this truck and that is probably why we like it so much. It is a bunch of good combining to make a really stout package. The fact that it is an 8′ step-side style bed is also cool because you really do not see those too often, around these parts anyway.

As mentioned, the truck has a 906 headed 440 that has been bored .030, had a set of forged slugs swapped in, given a cam with .455 lift, and the valve train has also been replaced with new stuff. The transmission is a Torqueflite with a fresh converter, all new guts inside the case, and a shift kit has been added to firm up the gear changes. New fuel and brake lines, dual shocks on the corners, roll on bed liner, and an interior that has a freshly upholstered bench seat as well. All the stuff works, the four wheel drive is functional, and this is a truck you could seemingly jump in, hit the key, and cruise to the ends of the Earth today.

It seems like these middle 1970s trucks are a good place to look for really high quality rigs for pretty decent prices. Yes, the seller wants $15,000 for this truck but start doing the math on what it took to get the thing into this state and we bet that you will run out of funding before you get it to this state. Not perfect but a damned fine truck and 100% BangShifty in our opinion!
