Motorcycle hillclimbs are nuts. They are typically steeper and crazier than most truck hillclimbs and when you quit going forward that usually means the bike is flying one way and you are going the other. Oh and did we mention the bikes sometimes take out the course workers? Or that they land on riders?! Yeah, this is crazy stuff that we want no part of, but that we can’t help watching. It’s like a non stop car wreck and we love it. This is a cool video of the best highlights from the 2019 season of the Arette Hill Climb in France and you won’t believe some of this action. The bikes themselves are crazy as well, and make more power than anything on two wheels should. But men and women throw a leg over these beasts, start them up, and let go of the clutch after putting them on the chip, just to see who can get to the top of the hill the quickest. We would really love to watch this is in person, because I’m pretty sure this on is a riot to see up close.
