Haulers come in all different shapes, sizes, and varieties. From the humble pickup truck based units to old wedge died machines that have been dragged from barns, to stuff like this 1951 Chevy shown above and below which pretty much defies description. The truck that is for sale on eBay for the asking price of $82,900 is really stunning and that goes for the custom build crew cab, the extra long deck, the perfect show quality paint, the Duramax derived drive train, the luxury appointed interior, and the modernish Chevy chassis. There is no way you could build this thing for less than what the asking price is and the machine is so beautiful and unique and top dollar can be commanded just in the fact that there is not another one exactly like it on Earth.

The real shame of the situation is that the seller claims that the truck has only been driven 1,000 since it was completed. We’re bummed to hear that because this thing should be going somewhere every single weekend with a cool hot rod, muscle car, or even another truck on its back. Because of the fact it is so nice and elegant we’re thinking that a professionally built ‘rod would be the best thing to match the feel of the rig but at the end of the day, a classic truck of this caliber needs to haul something that matches it. Sounds weird to say that the car on the back of the truck has to live up to the truck itself, right?

The Duramax engine seems to be mounded pretty far back under the cab. We’re not sure if that was done to make some more room up front for driver and passenger or if it is because the cab was stretched and the way the chassis was modified just moved the engine to the rear of the cab rather than from under the stubby nose. The long wheelbase, the low stance, and the fit and finish really set this thing apart from any hauler we have seen in a long, long time.

Classy, elegant, and a worker? What’s cooler than that?!
