No, the engine is not for sale. No, the blowers and the intake are not being sold for $29,000. What is being sold for $29,000 is a twin supercharger intake for a Duramax along with all the rights, tooling, plans, and assorted other stuff needed to make more of them as a business venture. Designed for marine applications, this is pretty freaking awesome. Now, if someone were to get the guts enough to load this whole program into the nose of a truck, like a dually and take it on…sayyyyy, Drag Week? That would be heroic!

We do not know much about this whole thing other than the image of the completed engine shows a pair of screw style superchargers tucked neatly on top of a Duramax V8 engine, both sucking from a single air filter. The whole thing is huge but it almost looks factory in the cleanliness of the application. We’re not sure why, other than perhaps hood clearance, this whole situation would not fit under the hood of a truck. That’s a comparatively easy fix, right?

The actual intake itself is pretty awesome looking. You can see a split port design, a pretty big plenum area, and longish runners. The noise those two blowers would make along with the boost seem to indicate that they could support some really decent power. Listen, everyone is compounding turbocharging everything these days. Why not get blown and make a business out of it in the process, right?

From Sweden. I bet there’s an interesting development story in there with a bunch of ups and downs…including a tremendous amount of work and kinda ending in a down. With no less than eleven bend-and-straightens and only about 165 degrees of crank pulley contact to drive all that, I’m thinking the belt deal was the final headache – my guess only. Sure looks amazing.

I cant imagine why they would try and drive 2 superchargers with one 8pk belt?? May be an add on pulley on the front of the harmonic balancer with a pair of 8pk’s would be adequate for the blowers? But seriously how much hp would each blower need to run 10 psi 15~30hp?
