Viva Las Vegas 2014: Our Last Blast Of Truck Photos – Lots Of Patina And Character

We’ve finally come to the end of the road with our dedicated truck photos from Viva Las Vegas 2014. This last group of truckin’ awesome photos has some real odd balls in it like the the pro touring style International Harvester Metro truck below. We’re not sure if it was a dairy delivery rig, a bread truck, perhaps a newspaper wagon, or some other type of short haul draft horse during its working life, but now it is looking pretty good with a weathered exterior, low profile tires, big wheels, and obviously air suspension because it is laying frame in the photo below. Hey, it would make ingress and egress easier and safer if you were literally about an inch off the ground every time you needed to enter or exit, right? The delivery guy wouldn’t complain but we’re pretty sure that the fleet mechanics would be pissed when the oil pans kept getting ripped off.

Outside of the “regulars” like Ford and Chevys, you’ll see some more International hotness in here along with other small or orphaned brands of trucks. Like car companies there were many small ventures that popped up and either died quickly or hung in there for a few years before they failed or were swallowed up be larger companies. We’re not going to lie though, as good as that stuff is, it is REALLY hard to beat the looks of a rig like the gold GMC you see above. That is one handsome hunk of Detroit iron.
