Watch This Naked Mud Truck Wreck At The Mud Down In T-Town – Crazy Stuff

While you may know Tulsa Raceway Park as one of the best strips in the country and the beginning and ending point of multiple Drag Weeks, the place has evolved and captured a big mud racing crowd as well. They have multiple pits, including a side by side drag race style pit that draws in some of the top mud racers in the region to compete for cash and prizes. If you think that the competition in the mud is any less intense than what happens on the asphalt, you are wrong. These guys are as bat-crap insane as any asphalt drag race and potentially even more nuts.

The guy driving the mud truck in this video is Randy Roberts and while the run starts pretty well, it doesn’t end so hot with a series of tight barrel rolls onto the hard ground outside of the mud after Randy loses the handle on the truck and it escapes the sloppy confines of the mud. The name of the “truck” is Never Satisfied and the fact that it is a 100% bare chassis is kind of awesome. There is not one stitch of a body on this thing and that is A-OK with us. The thing looks totally mean this way and it lets you see exactly how a high level mud racing truck is built.

You’ll see Randy’s big block, nitrous fed animal leap off the starting line and try to get up on plane to cross the mud but the thing gets into a bounce which is no bueno and ends up sending the truck off the mud course sideways and toward hard ground. One the ultra light truck hits the ground sideways, the air show begins. Randy walked away, the chassis did its job, but there is going to be lots of work to do at the shop to get that girl fixed up for next weekend. Racing…it is all about the thrash.

I like how quick the track crew got to it. I’ve been to many outdoor runs and that’s the quickest I’ve even seen the team reach the vehicle in trouble down track.

I’m not exactly sure how long the mud track is. But I will tell you that the Track Workers at Tulsa Raceway Park are some of the best and the fastest on scene that I have ever witnessed. The Tulsa track is getting better every year.
